Our story
BackRoads BBQ is a barbecue restaurant in Moreland, GA started by 2 longtime friends Phil Aaron and Gary Hyde.
Both of us have had many years experience in catering and food, and wanted to bring that experience and passion together for the people of Moreland and surrounding areas in the form of slow smoked barbecue and other delicious smoked foods.
Our restaurant, located right off Highway 29 in Moreland, is designed for quick-service, sit-down, or on the run dining.

We smoke all our meats and cook all of our food fresh every single day, and use only the best ingredients. So you can rest assured that your entire meal will be top notch, from the first bite to when you inevitably lick the plate clean (don’t worry, we don’t judge).
